Privacy Policy

Teliv Technologies Inc. ("we", "our", "us") operates the SticQR mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
User Content: The App stores data you create, including areas, containers (SticQRs), items, photos, receipts, QR code associations, tags, and notes. This content is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud services when you are signed in.
Photos: Photos you take or select within the App are stored locally and uploaded to secure cloud storage to enable cross-device sync. We do not access or use your photos for any purpose other than providing the App's functionality.
Authentication Data: We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in. If you use biometric authentication, biometric data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
- To sync your data across your devices
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account
- To send warranty expiration notifications you have enabled
- To respond to support requests you submit through the App
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database and synced to Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) servers. Firebase infrastructure is hosted in secure, SOC 2-compliant data centers.
We implement security measures including user-scoped database access rules, file size and type validation on uploads, and authentication rate limiting. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- Service providers: We use Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and cloud sync. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings > Account > Delete Account), which permanently removes all your cloud data, photos, support tickets, local data, and authentication account.
You may also export a backup of your data at any time through the App before deleting your account.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, export, or delete your personal data. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
